Pet regulations at Tallink Silja

At Tallink Silja, pets are welcome on board the ferry between Helsinki and Tallinn. There are a number of things you should take into account:

  • Pet passport is required
  • Large pets (>20kg) can travel in the special on-board kennel or pet-friendly cabins*, these pets must also always be kept on a leash and muzzled outside the kennel
  • Small pets (<20kg) can be brought to all indoor areas, with the exception of the children’s area, restaurant, pub and bar.
  • Pets should never be left alone

* It is good to know that there are a limited number of pet-friendly cabins available on board. If you want to take advantage of this, be sure to book on time.
